Thai Lion Air adds links to Hanoi, Nanjing and Phitsanulok.
- Thai Lion Air has added three more routes to its Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK) base during the last week. The new destinations are Hanoi (HAN) in Vietnam, Nanjing (NKG) in China and Phitsanulok (PHS) in Thailand. The domestic route is just 320 kilometres, while the new daily service to Nanjing clocks in at 2,715 kilometres. All three new routes will be flown by the airline’s 737-900s. Thai Lion Air becomes the third carrier operating on the city pairs in each case, with Thai AirAsia already serving all of these routes along with Nok Air/NokScoot. This summer Thai Lion Air will be serving 22 destinations non-stop from Bangkok’s downtown airport, of which 12 are domestic routes, five are in China, two in Vietnam and one each in Indonesia, Myanmar and Singapore.
